Trurnit-big head nails
Big head nails (plasterboard nails) are made of a smooth shank and a riveted, round head plate with a diameter of approx. 20 mm.
The large head plate makes these nails particularly suitable for fastening soft and/or porous materials, such as lightweight boards, mesh, pressboards, roofing and wall insulation boards, plastic foams etc. through which a smaller nail head would sink.
As an alternative for applications with a higher strain, we would recommend our big head screw shank nails. They are constructed similarly but possess a wooden screw thread which more than doubles the extraction values (PDF).
Big head nails are not suitable for machine processing.
